Directorate is headed by the Director General of Foreign Trade and is responsible
for execution of the Exim Policy announced by the Government from time to

| Directorate
General of Anti-Dumping and Allied Duties was set up in April, 1998 with
a view to carry out investigations and to recommend the amount of anti-dumping
duty on the identified article which would be adequate to remove injury
to the domestic industry.
The directorate
is headed by the Additional Secretary in the Department of Commerce who
shall be the Designated Authority. The Designated Authority acts as an
independent authority and the orders issued by him through Gazette notifications
are appellable. An Appeal against the order of the Designated Authority
lies to the Customs, Excise and Gold(control) Appellate Tribunal (CEGAT).
In addition to the infrastructure support to the Anti-dumping mechanism,
there exist a Facilitation Cell that advises all interested parties of
information required and possible sources for that information and also
the procedures and time frames involved.

| This
Directorate is the Primary Government agency for the collection, compilation
and the publication of the foreign, inland and ancillary trade statistics
and dissemination of various types of commercial information. The Directorate
brings out a number of publications, particularly on trade statistics, which
are utilized in framing economic policies, formulating trade agreements
with foreign countries and monitoring these agreements. These publications
are also used by the trading public and research scholars. The Directorate
also helps in the settlement of commercial disputes. It maintains a commercial
library which is widely used by the exporters, importers, research scholars
and others.

Technology Parks of India (STPI), is a society set up by the Ministry
